A few scores from around the city tonight……

Aiken 62 Mitchell (TN) 48: The Falcons bounced back from a loss in their first game at the Lynx Holiday Classic in Memphis with a win over a good local team in Mitchell. Aiken also got production from junior wing Austin Grimes who went for a double-double with 12 points and 15 rebounds. The Falcons now get ready to travel back to Cincinnati after finishing the event 1-1.

Walnut Hills 56 St. Xavier 49: The Eagles add a nice road win to their resume with some clutch foul shooting and late game playmaking from junior PG Sterling Gilmore. Walnut was led by the 15 points and 17 rebounds of emerging star post Isaiah Johnson, a bulky 6’9 junior. In the loss the Bombers got 16 points from senior wing Ryan Gantzer.

Summit 66 Purcell Marian 30: A late first half 32-4 Summit run put this game out of reach early as the Knights remain undefeated by rolling over the Cavaliers.
