|Trey Dees one of Cincy's premiere point guards|
- West High 69 Shroder 53: The Mustangs wore the Jags down in the second half with their speed and their depth. Other then junior point Trey Dees, who scored 7 points and played a really solid all around game, Shroder does not have the guards to compete with West High's talented duo of junior point guards Darrell Bullock and Lionel Hill. Hill has really improved his passing skills of late and led the team with 19 points. Junior wing Keevin Tyus did his usual with 17 points off of transition and strong drives out of the high post. West High did a nice job slowing down senior big man Jalen Billups, holding him to 17 points (8 of them came in the last two minutes with Mustang subs in).
- LaSalle 68 Mason 44: Lancers blew this one wide open in a game widely expected to be a close one. LaSalle proved that they can make even the most talented teams cave into their intense ball pressure. Junior point guard Josh Lemmons led four Lancers in double figures with 16 points.
