Kairo Cannon showed his underrated versatility
tonight against Aiken, college coaches take notice
this boy is one of the top sleepers in this class in Ohio.

  • Aiken 68 Shroder 61:  Sophomore wing Austin Grimes, fresh off of his first D1 offer (Akron), came to play tonight scoring 26 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Aiken also got 14 points from senior forward Femi Thompson, several of them off of assists from Tyonte Robertson. Shroder got a really good performance from Kairo Cannon, forced to play the point with junior Trey Dees out with an injury. Cannon scored 19 points and was the one player who was consistently able to test the guards of Aiken and make them move their feet. Senior power forward Jalen Billups scored 20 points and was particularly active on the glass, using his size advantage to clean up Jaguar misses. Junior big man Ladell Griffin had his best game of the season with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 blocks for Shroder. Pictures
