Hamilton's Corey Wise to Transfer

'13 SG Corey Wise, formerly of Hamilton, will be enrolling this week at Withrow HS after moving into the Cincinnati Public School district last week. Wise, a 6'2 scoring wing presently ranked as one of Cincinnati's top 20 rising juniors, averaged a little under 10 points per game last season for the Big Blue; earning him second team all conference honors.

Hamilton, who has a young but talented team returning, will really miss Wise's ability to attack defenders off the bounce and his nice shooting stroke from mid-range and deep. For Withrow, Corey might be the missing piece to really take this team to the next level. The Tigers had the look of a team with plenty of guards and posts but not many wings, the addition of Wise gives them another scoring threat that can stretch the floor.
