ReplyDeleteHow can there be a watch list without Payton Ramsey, Will Green, and John Bubbehoffer at guards. And where is all of our length. Andrew Homer 6'5, Andrew Emerick 6'4, Nick Bennett 6'4, Jordan Anderson 6'3, Tomas McVitty 6'3, Mitch Webber 6'4 and all with guard skills. Mason has a few lengthy kids.
ReplyDeleteThe ones that are mentioned as tall are only 6'0 to 6'1 these other kids are legitimately tall.
ReplyDeleteMake sure to be there when these GCL kids on your list play Roger Bacon(William Green) and Badin(Zach Larkin & Philip Dozier).
ReplyDeleteI like Dozier (needs to learn to shoot)but can play, have not seen Zach Larkin play. All the kids mentioned above on 10/29 have a chance to play college one day. At what level is always the question. Nick Bennett will be a baseball player, Ramsey and Mcvitty (football). Webber will be 6'8 and a stud. I love Andrew Homer at both sports. Emerick and Anderson are similar and will play for good Coaches, both have extremely improved and will be tall. Bubenhoffer is one of the best shooters in State. Green is an all around good heady guard.
ReplyDeleteThis is a loaded class thruout the State. The top few players in Cincy can compete with any of them, mostly guards. Our tall's 3,4 and 5's are still developing. Only time will tell. The ones that were big the last few years have not grown or developed into a wing (big guard). Alot of people have followed this class.
ReplyDeleteAnd the names mentioned above only have 2-3 kids max that are legit over 6'0 tall. Some got 3-4" on height.
ReplyDeleteWhat about peyton ramsey brannen martin.
ReplyDeleteThere are many great freshmen players out there and if you are gonna have a list the following players must be on it or its not accurate including Ryan Smith 6'5" C at Moeller, Dominic Valentino 6'4" PF/C Badin, James Deaton 6'1" SG/SF CHCA, Brandon Holiday 5'10" PG Turpin, Justin Dornbach 6'0" SG/SF Anderson, Peyton Ramsey 6'1" PG/SG Elder, Thomas McVitty 6'2" PG/SG Moeller, Jake Biehle 6'0" SG/PG Lakota West. These players as well as the ones listed above make one of the deepest and most talented freshmen classes the Cincinnati area has seen in a while.
ReplyDeletedid you just say Jake Biehle? I hope that was a joke. I can't believe he is still playing basketball.
DeleteMark Cruz and Jeffery Wood is the future to Withrow Basketball Program. These two can really dominate throughout the game, these two are also D1 prospects. You will be seeng these two guys on ESPN playing in the next level.
ReplyDeleteJohn Taphorn at La Salle should be on here, Him, Perez Rankin, and Jeremy Larkin are the future of La Salle's program. You need to watch Taphorn play!
ReplyDeleteI have seen Taphorn play, He's an all around player with good ball skills, his height boosts him from all guards, he's about 6'0, 6'1 and that really sperates him from other people in this grade as a guard
DeleteTaphorn plays hard, needs to work on shot. LaSalle has a very good Frosh class. I like there 2 forwards the 6'3 white dudes, both athletic and are going to be very good. There QB is tight. Perez has gotten better. Larkin go freake deake on defense. I like my guy Mark Cruz from Withrow also.
ReplyDeleteNick Watson the QB is lethal, his name will be out soon.....Very Soon. At La Salle

DeleteDon't Sleep On Chris Harrington Although Woodward isn't the best sports school. That Kid Has Heart, Effort, and Talent
ReplyDeleteTra'son Martin From Shroder Played On The Same 8th Grade Team As Carlik Jones And Tra Carried The Team Last Year, he should be noticed Tra Plays Jv For Shroder
ReplyDeleteDONT SLEEP ON NADEEM KHALFANI Alec Vest JORDAN THOMPSON AARON SHANNON FOR WITHROW
ReplyDeletecheckout sycamores freshman class , not known as a powerhouse school but definitely up and coming
ReplyDeleteThe Kid Jeff Wood Is An Straight Player. Deffends Really Good On Bigger Or Smaller Gaurds And Can Attack The Rim Any Time He Wants. Scores 15 To 20 Points A Game Im Hearing He's The Best Player In The CMAC Him And The Kid Israel Griffin.
ReplyDeleteLook out for too upcoming players from Middletown Kobie Johnson And Eethan Edwards they're the future for that program
ReplyDeleteKobie Johnson playing varsity over there, and Eethan Is nasty, just needs more height.
DeleteDedrek Hill did not play with Withrow this year but watch out for him in the long run hope we will get to see him play along Mark Cruz and Jeff Wood
ReplyDeletewatch out for jahavri portis of elder. he is a talented basketball and football player
ReplyDeleteKenyi bryant for mt.healthy j.v. he is a 6'2 point gaurd and can do it all you need to go check him out cause thier shouldent be a list without him thier next game is thrusday agnist colerain you need to go check him out
ReplyDeletePucell marian is stacked this year. They have 5 guys on this list.

ReplyDeleteTaphorn at La Salle is going to come up big for the lancers. Come see him play he is one of the best players in the GCL. When the pressure is on, he is a performer.
ReplyDeleteHow can you forget the western hills basketball program. The 6'3 center Dolan montgomery, or the 5'5 point guard Tamar Acoff, and the 5'9 shooting guard Martrel Phillips they are also individually making a statement in this league.
ReplyDeleteKid from Moeller Nate Georgeton can really play. Undersized but can do everything on the court.
ReplyDeleteThat 6'4 kid Isaiah that goes to withrow should be on there because when I went to two of his games he was a elite big man he's like a little Chris Bosh
ReplyDeleteI am Darrell Mckenzie i play for woodward check me out
ReplyDeleteHey go check out aau Shooting guard Brandon Allen 6'3 He is a very good player he dominates the game his jump shot is unlimited he also has an awesome clutch awareness he plays like a LeBron James He is the Future of basket ball I personally have seen this kid play nd aau games he drops atleast 20 25 points again he is an 100% natural his first high-school year of basketball will begin this year go check him out For Robert A. Taft
ReplyDeleteRamsey was the best freshman basketball player I saw in the GCL-South last year.
ReplyDeleteI saw someone mention Portis, his best sport is football. He has the chance to be a very special running back.
jake biehle should be among the top. this list is odviously put together by someones parent . this list is a joke. you have players on this list that were 2nd & 3rd string on their freshman team and were cut by their aau teams as well!
ReplyDeleteI agree , jake has played with or against most of the kids on this list. boykins, for instants,he was jakes back up at school, and aau jake has never lost to boykins, peyton ramsey or branden marten!
DeleteWhy isn't Nadeem Khalfani on this list he will be a big prospect by the end of his junior year.
