Dunbar obvisiously dismantled Thurgood without their junior guard leader and most effective all arouund player in the state Mark Alstork. With Alstork playing Thurgood most likely wins this or makes it a much closer game. When he is on the floor he makes Thurgood Marshall so better offensively, defensively and everything else because he does so much each time they play. Dunbar will see Thurgood in the tournament and I take Thurgood willing the win behind Alstork play, they really missed him both games he was out, huge lose, but now his back huge release off Thommason and Coach shoulders.

  2. No one loves Mark's game more then me, when he was younger I coached him in AAU. I was at the Withrow game and thought that both calls against him were bad, especially the hanging on the rim one. That being said Thurgood lost this game by 26 points! No player on either team can make up a 26 point deficit.

I think Thurgood fans need to accept that Dunbar has the better team this season. But, Dunbar probably had the better team last year and Thurgood upset them in the regionals; that could easily happen again. But you can't take anything away from Dunbar from last night's performance. With or without Mark it wasn't even going to be in doubt. Too much Teddy and Dre, remember Akbar only played about a half due to foul trouble.

  3. I agree with Scouting Ohio. Alstork is the best all around player in the state and have to do the most each time they step on the court for them to win. Both teams are equally talented and everytime they play you'll never no who has the edge. Just like the regionals last year Alstork put up 22pts and 9rebs to lead them to state. So Mark Alstork is the biggest piece to Thurgood for them to be state bound again, Alstork really gonna have to put on a hell of a show for the rest of the year and his built to do it.
