Saturday Results:

Aaron Thomas returned to Aiken in style.
Action packed CMAC game and a heavyweight battle in the GMC that allowed Lakota East to remain one of two unbeaten teams in the city, along with Moeller. Withrow and Aiken pictures  
  • Withrow 80 Aiken 71: A strong third quarter propelled Withrow to a road win in Aaron Thomas' return to Aiken. Thomas was aggressive all night scoring 21 points, mostly in the lane. Carl Porter was the high scorer for Withrow with 24 points and fellow senior wing Kevin Jones added 12. Big man Rozelle Nix scored 8 points for Withrow and sophomore forward Devin Williams added 9. Senior guard Gene Primus led Aiken with 19 points. Junior guards Willy Moore and Landen Gaulden each scored 14 for Aiken and Austin Grimes added on 11 in the loss.
    Gene Primus scored 19 tonight.

  • Lakota East 71 Mason 57: Cameron Lee led East with 23 points in a win that put the Thunderhawks in control of their own GMC destiny and kept them undefeated. Jalen Goodwin also contributed 17 points for East and Mike Boyd added 10. Mason got 13 points from Ethan King and 10 from JD Sprague.
  • Dayton Dunbar 75 North College Hill 64: Star junior forward Teddy Hawkins led Dunbar with 21 points while Gary Akbar and Keontae Brown each added 14. North College Hill got 17 points from Vince Edwards, 13 from Greg Sevilla, and 10 from Donald Bush.

  • Taft 86 Woodward 68: Adolphus Washington led Taft with 19 points and double digit rebounds while 4 other Senators hit double figures. Marquez Johnson, a senior wing, scored 16, Jalean Lowe 12, Chris Lowe 10, and Dwayne Stanford 10 in the win. In a loss, Demetrius Pruitt led Woodward with 18 points and Trent Donald added 16. 
  • West High 62 Hughes 56: Freshman guard Kevin Daniels had another huge game by scoring 21 points in the loss. Bubba Hill led West High with 24 points in the win.
  • Middletown 54 Fairfield 45: Geovonie McKnight led the Middies with 22 and Kirby Wright added on 14 points in the win.
  • Carl Porter was Withrow's leading scorer with 24 tonight.
    Walnut Hills 63 Wilmington 41: Sophomore center Isiah Johnson led Walnut Hills with 15 points. Freshman star Zach McCormick led Wilmington with 21 points in the loss.
  • Talwanda 71 Norwood 62: Junior guard Deontez McGee scored 30 points in the Norwood loss.
