Princeton 80 Hughes 46: The Vikings knocked in 10 three pointers in a rout that was decided by halftime. Junior guard Malcom Smith scored 22 points, connecting on 4 triples, and senior guard Ulysses Thomas scored 12 points, all off of threes. Thomas also showed off his passing game as he found teammates under the basket for layups a few times. Senior forward Shaquille Prather really competed hard for Hughes tonight and scored 17 points. Senior wing Ryan Greene and freshman combo guard Kevin Daniels each added 10. Daniels has scored in double figures in both of his varsity games and looks to be one of the top freshman to keep an eye on in Cincinnati; he has a knack for getting by his man and with a little skill-work he should be a special player. Princeton proved tonight that they are really dangerous when hitting shots, a lot of their success can be attributed to sophomore point guard Dorian Jordan who did a nice job of pushing the ball up the floor and getting Princeton into their zone offense. Jordan and Princeton's other guards also did a good job of making it tough on Hughes' ball-handlers to get the offense set up.
